Design approach and result:
We want to completely change the design logic of a table base, trying to completely intervene in its structure.
To provide a completely different aesthetic effect that is defined and rendered as an art object of high and unparalleled quality.
And this is what we want to achieve in a material like metal. A material that is no longer relatively cheap as a raw material, but on the other hand, let's work and process it in such a way as to achieve its complete visual and aesthetic change.
At the same time, the ergonomic and functional standards must be in full harmony with the design standards in order to ensure stability and efficient management in the initial use of the selection.
The choice in each result will be carefully considered, so that we can easily and clearly direct what we have created, to provide a solution and performance per project use. In a few words, each product will be directly determined how it can work, for example "which raw material will frame the upper part of the table" which will have the same aesthetic and utilitarian dynamics.
The combination also, in some designs, of solid luxury wood as a lining in parts of the base will complete and highlight the uniqueness of the object.
What we want to achieve:
Our purpose is to create a new category of metal products that will be deservedly referred to as "masterpieces in place" and will be addressed to a wide audience, an audience with demands that seeks advertising and high aesthetic quality.
Production process and technical characteristics:
A process that will be entirely manual, persistent, difficult and time-consuming, where the metal will be worked in a completely different way:
1) Original metal forms of specific dimensions (profiles) of five and six meters dimensions (length). These will be cut into pieces of different dimensions, and each of them will be worked separately to shape their form.
These will constitute a composition of a first draft.
When this composition is completed, with the welding of all the individual pieces, the whole composition will be reworked from the beginning to achieve its final form.
2)Additional choice in metal forms where their composition will be solid and not hollow.
3)The individual welds where the parts of the pieces will be connected will be supplemented with small pieces of metal and several layers of welding in order to achieve the filling of the original sculptural form of the connection. After this processing (grinding of material) the final design performance of the object will be achieved.
4)Combination of several profiles of different cross-sections and dimensions.
5) Connecting and welding the ribs of the overall connection in such a way as to achieve the stability and balance of the metal base.
Finishing the metal base with metallic and electrostatic paints:
- Different color palettes with a wide range of combinations.
- Architectural paints of high resistance and quality used on building facades.
- Combination of metallic and electrostatic paint together for special color performances.
5. Production time:
From 60 to 90 days depending on the complexity of the design proposal.
6. The philosophy of the concept:
Our effort is focused on creating a new group of special and unique products that will not only be addressed to the private consumer, but will be an option for the demanding client of the architect, decorator, or designer who wants to mark a personal or professional space.
Having the flexibility to choose the final configuration of the object – by choosing the final raw material for the upper part of the base for his client – he will determine together with his client the final aesthetic composition of the table.
